A Message from Somerville Mayor Joe Curtatone

We're going to stay on this treadmill where every year the MBTA has a funding crisis until we follow Gov. Patick's lead and deal directly with our statewide transportation issues. The MBTA has been saddled unfairly with Big Dig debt which means an endless cycle of us paying more for less on the MBTA. And in the long term, fixing the underlying problems will strengthen our economy and cost us less money.
